Horse center "LIBERTAS" was founded in 1994. and since then it offers organized touristic-recreational riding for children and adults, as well as horsing sport. The center acts atseveral locations in Croatia: during the summer time at the Adriatic Coast as a context of Holiday village ZATON near Zadar, and during the year in Zagreb, Karlovac and ranch "Kosa" in Lika.
Apart from recreational riding, the center offers organized tours of therapeutic riding for children and persons with disablement as well as a sequence of other activities connected with horses. The center is particularly orientated to action with younger members, because this sport builts in self-confidence and responsibility apart from psycho-physical abilities and knowing the life of nature around them could take them into the world of one of the most attractive sports. |
To the sportsmen and those who love horses and have no previous experience, but would love to enjoy horses and nature or have competitive ambitions, we offer the school of riding within several phases.
During the first phase the rider gets to know the horse, the clearing, the groom and the gear. Attendants learn the basis of sports-recreational riding, and their age can be from 7 to 77 years.
For more ambitious riders there are advanced groups of competitive riding, leaping, galloping or jogging sport. The riding courses take place individually or in groups and lasts depending on abilities and ambitions of the rider. |

Možete li zamisliti godišnji bez konja? Kad krećem na more, uvijek pomislim kako ću se malo odmoriti od dnevne rutine, od posla, a s time i od štale i svoje kobile. No, već nakon nekoliko dana počinje mi nedostajati i kobila i drugi konji, miris štale i zelenilo kontinenta. Ovo ljeto nije bilo sunčano, dapače odlikovalo se velikim brojem vjetrovitih i kišnih dana. Vrijeme nije bilo za kupanje, pa smo se prijateljica Maja i ja odlučile posjetiti Zaton i konjički klub "Libertas". |

Special attraction are mini ponies - horses which can even be ridden by the smallest children with our expert aid. The horses are of exceptionaly calm temperament and are very tolerant with children who can, apart from riding them, undisturbely stay with them, feed them, groom them and learn something about the animals they don't have a chance to meet often in big cities. |
